A Sanford forwarder that answers its own phone
HalveonAV started in Sanford in 2018, a short drive from Orlando Sanford International and the I-4 interchange, with one desk, one phone line and a simple idea: small and mid-sized Florida shippers deserve the same attention a forwarder gives its biggest account.
Daniel Whitaker had spent years at a Jacksonville forwarder watching smaller importers get rolled bookings, late notices and surprise charges because nobody had time for them. HalveonAV was built the other way around. Every client has one named coordinator, every quote is written down with its exclusions, and bad news travels to you first.
We don't own ships, planes or trucks, and that's deliberate. Central Florida sits between five major seaports on two coasts and three busy cargo airports, so we can route each shipment through whichever gateway makes the most sense that week instead of filling our own equipment.
Everything we do is handled digitally. Quotes, bookings, documents and tracking arrive by email and through shared shipment records, so a buyer in Orlando, a supplier in Ningbo and a consignee in Santo Domingo are all looking at the same information at the same time.
